| Frequently Asked Questions |
| How do I make reservations? Call (512)736-9384 and speak to me, Suzanne. Voice-mail is available 24 hours a day to leave a message. I will promptly return your call. How far in advance doI need to make reservations? I request 5 day notice before services are to begin. However, I do understand that emergency situations may arise. Please call as soon as you are aware you need service. Scheduling in advance will allow enough time for me to meet your pets before the service period begins. What if my pet becomes ill or is injured while I am away? I will request your veterinarian’s information in the packet I give you along with a release form allowing them to provide care for your pet. You will be contacted immediately regarding your pet’s illness/injury. All veterinary care provided will be decided by you. However, if you are unreachable, I will direct the veterinarian to provide the best care according to the veterinary release form that you have completed. If your veterinarian does not have after hours or is closed and your pet needs medical attention during that time, I have a list of emergency veterinary services that I will seek for your pet’s care. What if you get sick or have an emergency during the service period of caring for my pet? In the event of a personal emergency or illness on my part, I will arrange for another qualified person to fulfill responsibilities as set forth in the contract. You will be notified if this happens. Will my house key be secure in your possession? Your house key will be coded so that I know it belongs to your house. When I am not providing services at your residence the key will be secured in a locked safe. Who provides supplies for my pets? You will be responsible for supplying all supplies and medications for your pets. This includes but is not limited to food, water, medication, leashes, collars, bedding, toys, cleaning supplies, vaccination tags, cat litter, etc. If it is necessary to purchase supplies, you will be responsible for the cost of the item plus an additional “delivery charge”. This charge will be due the day services end. |
